On a mission to brighten the world through creating more love, compassion, and understanding, Gia Duke brings her down-to-earth, coffee-with-your-BFF style to every page of this inspirational book. As a professional life coach, speaker, workshop and retreat leader—and the creator of the Revolution Super Love movement—Duke knows a thing or two about the transformative power of giving. A passionate humanitarian, she has founded a nonprofit for foster youth, done aid work in Africa, and worked directly with animal rescue organizations. She knows from experience that harnessing your energy, creativity, and love into causes that personally resonate with you can literally change your life, not to mention the lives of the countless people you meet and work with.
It’s almost impossible to remain unaffected by Duke’s powerful stories, infectious enthusiasm, and motivational messages that invite action for those with a big heart. On these pages, Duke will first show you how to hone your mission, then deliver practical, step-by-step advice on how to make your giving-back goals a reality. She’ll teach you how to seamlessly fit charitable pursuits into your life (no more excuses!), find the resources and the like-minded people you need to help launch your work, and pinpoint and overcome any obstacles that might be thrown your way. Overflowing with humor and compassion, GET YOUR HEART ON™ will set you off on an exhilarating path toward making a powerful and lasting impact on the world.
