- Book 1 of 2: GET YOUR DUCKS IN A ROWE
For Teachers And Executives To Teach "Strategic Writing" in 1-HOUR via 10-STEPS to get it down to 1-PAGE.
Are you an EXECUTIVE tired of WASTING TIME due to your team's poor thinking, writing and communication skills? Is it killing productivity due to rewrites, poor direction, and mistakes? Looking to fix it quickly, inexpensively and get everyone on the same page?
Are you a HS TEACHER or COLLEGE PROFESSOR struggling to teach students how to structure their thinking to write clearly, concisely and persuasively? TO WRITE IS TO THINK! But teaching writing is HARD and many of your students come to you with poor skills that you need to fix ASAP.
Critical Thinking, Writing and Communication are the top skills managers look for in new hires yet research shows 50-75% of managers find recent grads lack these skills. INC. says poor writing costs companies $400B/yr. Not to mention the impact on people – stress, morale, reputations. Now they spend $3B/yr on remedial writing training. Yet GRADS TAKE IT FOR GRANTED! 66-80% of grads in those studies indicate they are proficient in these skills. It's called THE SKILL GAP. The combination of casual communication online, and the focus on STEM courses, results in less training in the arts especially writing.
With 45 years of senior marketing experience, and avoiding the typical boring business book, I wrote Get Your Ducks In A Rowe as a practical training tool to help execs Think, Write, Present, Sell.
It's the same simple, structured format we used to train recent grads so they hit the ground running to become immediately productive. It's a time tested, disciplined approach that works.
The beauty is in it's simplicity - it takes just 1-HOUR to read, provides 10-STEPS to organize thinking to solve problems and communicate plans, with a goal to be so clear and succinct you get it down to 1-PAGE. All for only $14.99 paperback ($9.99 on Kindle).
