🌟 The Geometry of Design: From Timeless Patterns to Future Creativity 🌟
Step into a world where art, architecture, and mathematics converge, and discover the universal language of shapes that has inspired humanity for millennia. The Geometry of Design shows how geometry shapes the world—from the symmetry of ancient monuments to futuristic AI-driven architectures—and how it can unlock your own creative potential.
Why this book is perfect for designers, artists, and curious minds:
-
🏛 Iconic Architecture & Nature’s Designs: Explore how geometry informs landmarks like the Taj Mahal, biomimetic domes, and modern skyscrapers. Learn how symmetry, proportion, and mathematical precision create spaces that move and inspire.
-
📐 Core Geometric Concepts, Explained Visually: Dive into fractals, spirals, hexagonal lattices, geodesics, and higher-dimensional projections. Illustrated with full-color diagrams, real-world examples, and step-by-step breakdowns.
-
🕶 Digital and Immersive Design: See how VR and AR create new design spaces, enabling generative architecture and immersive worlds. Learn how gaming environments and interactive installations teach geometry in fun and memorable ways.
-
🎨 Inspiring Creativity Across Mediums: From painting and sculpture to digital modeling, exercises and visual explorations help you apply geometric principles in your work.
-
⏳ History Meets Future: Journey from Platonic ideals and Renaissance proportions to AI-generated forms and metaverse structures, showing how geometry balances beauty, function, and innovation.
-
🌌 Beyond the Visible World: Explore curvature, non-Euclidean geometries, and higher-dimensional spaces. Visualize tesseracts, hyperbolic tilings, and geodesic domes for scientific and creative inspiration.
-
🌿 Nature-Inspired Learning: Patterns from plants, shells, honeycombs, and branching trees inspire efficient, elegant, and sustainable designs.
-
💡 Practical Insights for Modern Designers: Geometry applied to architecture, urban planning, product design, animation, and digital art demonstrates the fusion of mathematics and technology in creative environments.
-
🖼 Visual, Engaging, and Accessible: Rich illustrations and step-by-step examples make complex geometry easy to grasp, while keeping a playful, modern tone.
-
🚀 Inspire the Next Generation: Perfect for students, educators, and creative professionals, this book shows how understanding geometry can spark imagination, innovation, and transformative design thinking.
Whether fascinated by historical monuments, VR worlds, or natural forms, The Geometry of Design is a visually stunning guide to seeing the world—and your own work—through a mathematical lens of creativity.
✨ Discover the hidden geometry in everything around you—and design the future with clarity, imagination, and inspiration. ✨

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
