94 pp. Size: 5 " x 8 " oblong notebook w/ heavy pasteboard covers. Rear hinge starting and shakey. Rear cvr. has penned note: Reality II. Fore-edge well thumbed. Interior leaves lgt.-ly tanned, clean and tight. The hand written penciled geological field notes of the eminent zoologist when he was taking his masters degree at Colombia University. His name appears as W. K. Gregory on the notebook's front cover label with the course title given below in pen: Geology 51b, July-Aug 1904. Each page of the notebook contains field notes and illustrations. Dr. Gregory (1876-1970) was a world class primatologist and paleontologist and developed important theories on evolution. He held positions at Columbia University and the American Museum of Natural History. Seller Inventory # 001801
