Pp. xxvi, 519; 410; 297, (Index 298-422). Vol. 1: Ink inscription on front blank: Alex P. Falconer / From Translator WF following by a line in latin. Armorial bookplate of Thomas Falconer to front pastedown with motto Vive ut Vivas. Front hinge reinforced with binder's tape, covers lightly rubbed; Vol. 2: Small abrasions to pastedown (bookplate removal?), covers lightly rubbed; Vol. 3: A different armorial bookplate engraved by O. Jewitt, for Mr. Falconer, and with 4 other names from his lineage, covers lightly rubbed. Overall, a very clean, bright set, with an interesting provenance. Very handsome on the shelf. Size: 12mo.
