Founded in 1935, Geographical (formerly The Geographical Magazine) is the magazine of the Royal Geographical Society with the Institute of British Geographers. The magazine is published monthly, and contains illustrated articles on people, places, adventure, travel, and environmental issues, as well as the latest academic research and discoveries in geography. Each volume is highly illustrated with photographs and maps, many of which are in colour. Edited by Michael Huxley, an English diplomatist and editor. This set includes: Volume II, November 1935 - April 1936. With articles on: The National Parks of Canada, A Flight into the Stone Age, The Arctic Gateway to Siberia, and more. Volume III, May 1936 - October 1936. With articles on: Tribesmen of the White Nile, People of Indochina, Peasant Life in Hunza, and more. Volume IV, November 1936 - April 1937. With articles on: Alpine Wonders, The Changing Face of Rome, Seamen of the Indian Ocean, and more. In the original full green cloth binding. Externally, very smart with minor wear to the extremities. Light fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd small handling mark. The odd small pencil annotation.
