Bickers binding. [16], 340 pp. Half crushed levant morocco. Gilt lettered, decorated to compartments and raised bands, double fillet to morocco edge on boards. Top edge gilt. Binding very firm. Slight yellowing to spine, a few scratches/ light marks to boards, a touch of rubbing to extremities. Occasionally some foxing. Whistler's controversial and witty retaliation following his libel case against Ruskin.
