Print on Demand. This book offers a glimpse into the lives of the Letiec family, who settled in the 5th range of a Seigneurie in the 1880s. The novel explores the lives of Anselme and Catherine, their ceaseless toil, and ambitions. The author presents a narrative of the hopes, joys, and sorrows of a rural family, whose lives revolved around farming and community. The deep bond between the family members, their resilience in the face of tragedy, and their simple faith are central themes running through the novel. Through vivid descriptions of the family's day-to-day existence, the book delves into the fundamental human yearning for a secure and contented life. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.
