Synopsis:

This book is about Genius—the actual, real thing. It explains what Genius is, how Geniuses can know what others cannot know, where their unique ideas come from and how to fully develop Genius in yourself. It explains how and why Genius speaks only its own language, that of the non-conscious mind, which is entirely non-linear—the only non-linearity that human brains can know.
Genius does not speak the fragmented, sequential, linear languages of waking consciousness that occupy most of our time, like the natural languages, composed of words; mathematics, composed of numbers; or computer code, composed of both. Believing that waking consciousness can, of itself, develop Genius at all is entirely an illusion. It cannot, ever. This is why waking consciousness cannot directly be the source of solutions or innovations.
There is, however, an experiential field of possibilities in which waking consciousness and the non-conscious mind can and must interact deliberately to develop ideas, solutions, innovations and ultimately, Genius in an individual. That playing field, as regards accomplishing a project, outcome or goal of any kind is our example and topic in specifically addressing project management. It can be applied anywhere.
Genius is our birthright. It is entirely accessible because it represents the infinite diversity this universe was designed for, even in the midst of a historical “Information Age” of duplication, commoditization and fabricated normalcy; of oceans of fragmented data lined up in linear sequences in-formation. Ultimately, this book is about becoming the person you intended yourself to be.
The Genius Walt Whitman, was calling us to it when he wrote, “Failing to fetch me at first, keep encouraged. Missing me one place, search another. I stop somewhere waiting for you.” And so here we are, waiting for you.

About the Author: As a project manager Jorge Escotto has over fifteen years of experience working for Fortune 500 corporations, and personally executed hundreds of projects in 25 countries in that capacity. He has two PMI(R) certifications including PMP(R) and PMI-RMP(R), and a master of Information Technology. None of that is what ultimately made him perfect for co-authoring this book, however. It was necessary first, that he completely master and succeed internationally (and cross-culturally) as a project manager, in order to then be able to identify the exact, massive and subtle limitations of all linear formats, protocols and recommendations. He can directly connect what they aspire to but then fail to produce as a consequence of their linearity. He has an exceptional eye for this. José Santiago Pedrosa discovered in Jorge a stunning, prescient understanding of the boundaries implicit in those formats and protocols-an understanding so second-nature it is seldom identified or articulated by anyone. In that way, Jorge served as the perfect diagnostician, sounding board, inspiration and innovator for what this book presents and was essential to its creation. If Geniuses can readily see beyond the appearances of things-and we know that they can-then his career is a perfect example of that capacity. Jose Santiago has two M.A's and a Ph.D. at Harvard U. his informal "avocational" education of the last 30 years has been of greater depth, rigor and continuity than any of his formal studies: the study of the history of science with respect to new paradigms in brain neurology, and the practical applications of this information to everyday thinking After working at Harvard with David McClelland and others on a variety of social motivation, competency and other research's as a consultant for his firm, he worked as an independent consultant for over 20 years on 4 continents in a dozen countries working on organization and job re-design, strategic planning, change management and project management.
