*NOTE: The Geneva Bible is written in an early form of Modern English, and many words have different spellings, but there are no significant differences in grammar. This edition of the Geneva bible includes a quick reference guide for common differences from current English at the end of the book. Most people familiar with the modern Bible only need a few minutes of reading to get used to these changes.*
Here is an example
John 3:16 For God so loued the worlde, that hee hath giuen his onely begotten Sonne, that whosoeuer beleeueth in him, should not perish, but haue euerlasting life.
Go back to the beginnings of Calvinism and the English Protestant Reformation, and discover the bible that brought the Word of God to the common man. The original way to read the bible in your own language, for your own study, and translated directly from the original works in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin. The preferred text and the bible of early America, William Shakespeare, and John Milton, this is not just an important religious text, but the cornerstone of modern English and American culture.
Uncover the missing history between the Old and New Testament detailed in the books of the Apocrypha, following the evolution of Christianity into its modern form. The beliefs, folklore, history, and songs of the first Christians give unparalleled insight and context into the scriptures.
Whether for academic study, personal reflection, spiritual growth, or as a meaningful gift to loved ones, this bible is everything you need to deepen your relationship with the Bible and Christ.
