A new species threatens war. Only an old enemy can stop them.
ITF Director Bill Taggart thought he had control of the new planet. He was wrong.
Eight years ago, the World Government's elite vanished into isolation. Now they're back-genetically altered, more powerful than the Indigenes, and siphoning New London's energy grid dry.
When Bill confronts two of the returning leaders, he barely recognizes them. Tanya Li claims she needs the power to heal her kind.
Simon Shaw confirms his worst fear: Tanya isn't healing anyone. She's building something dangerous-designed to wipe out the Indigenes.
Bill has days, maybe hours, before she breaches the one place that could trigger extinction. And the only people who can stop her are the very enemies he's spent eight years trying to contain.
To save one species, he'll have to trust another.
And either one could destroy him.
The clock is ticking. Read Genesis Variant now.
