They are fuss free eaters and will be happy with enough space to forage around. A majority of their diet includes grass. So if you have about a quarter acre sized land, it is good enough for two geese. Of course, any lawn that is reasonably sized is a good option.
Geese can be extremely entertaining with their funny personalities and their rather goofy demeanor. However, they are large creatures that can be powerful. So, it is very important to learn everything you need know about raising them.
For first timers, geese may be overwhelming as they are larger than other poultry. You have to understand the correct way of handling them to keep them and yourself safe.
This book will prepare you for the responsibility of having geese in your backyard. The book covers all the important topics like food, hygiene and health associated with geese. It is the perfect way to learn if you are ready to handle these beautiful birds.
The primary goal of the book is to become the complete guide that a beginner can use as they explore their relationship with their pet geese. The information provided covers all the issues from preparing your home for your pet geese to actually giving them a good life with you.
