Tracey Kyle grew up in New Jersey and discovered her love of languages at an early age. She once lived in Madrid, Spain, where she discovered that gazpacho is her favorite soup. Today she lives and works in northern Virginia, where she teaches Spanish to middle school students. Gazpacho for Nacho is her first children’s book.

Carolina Farías lives in Argentina, where she works as an illustrator and a teacher. In 2007 she was selected by the National Cultural Secretariat of Argentina as the illustrator for the XVI Feria del Libro of Habana, Cuba.
