A gripping, high-stakes romantic suspense where loyalty is written in blood, danger lurks in every shadow, and love is the most dangerous choice of all.
His world is violence. Her world is safety. And their connection could cost them everything.
Lani never expected chaos to roar into her quiet life-but when her brother's motorcycle gang invades her home, everything she knows is shattered. What was supposed to be a peaceful weekend alone turns into a nightmare as eight leather-clad bikers descend on her house, bringing with them a hidden stash of cartel secrets, a debt soaked in blood, and a war that threatens to consume everyone she loves.
Her brother, Eli, has always walked on the wrong side of the law, but this time he's crossed a line that can't be uncrossed. A rival gang is closing in, demanding repayment for something Eli stole-and they're willing to kill anyone who gets in their way. Now Lani's suburban sanctuary has become a battlefield, and the crossfire is coming straight for her.
And at the center of it all is Kai.
The quiet one. The enforcer. The man her brother warned her to stay away from at all costs. With bruised knuckles, haunted eyes, and a past written in violence, Kai moves through the shadows like a predator-never speaking more than he has to, always watching, always ready. He's the one they send when things get bad. The one who's done things he's not proud of. The one who doesn't deserve redemption.
But when the rival gang comes looking for blood, it's Kai who steps between Lani and the bullets. It's Kai who fights with a ferocity that terrifies and fascinates her. And it's Kai who looks at her like she's the only bright thing in a world made of darkness.
He's dangerous. He's off-limits. He's the one person who makes her feel truly alive.
As threats close in from every side and betrayal lurks within her brother's own crew, Lani finds herself caught between two worlds: the family she's always known and the man who'd burn his own to protect her. But in a war where loyalty is written in blood and enemies are everywhere, falling for Kai isn't just reckless-it could be deadly.
The rival gang wants the stash. The Brotherhood wants revenge. And Kai? He just wants Lani to survive.
But survival comes at a price. When the violence escalates and the lines between enemy and ally blur, Lani must decide who she can truly trust. Her brother, whose lies put her in the crossfire? Her own instincts, which scream at her to run? Or Kai, the quiet storm who's already proven he'll sacrifice everything-including himself-to keep her alive?
