Caroline Silby, Ph.D. is a noted sports psychologist and former member of the U.S. International and National Figure Skating Teams. She serves on the United States Olympic Committee and with the United States Figure Skating Association. She consults and teaches at the University of Delaware and the University of Virginia. She lives in Alexandria, Virginia.

Shelley Smith is an award-winning journalist and co-authored Just Give Me the Damn Ball with Keyshawn Johnson. Formerly a contributor to Sports Illustrated, she now covers a range of subjects for ESPN, including the NBA, the NFL, Major League Baseball, and the NCAA Final Four. She lives in San Pedro, California with her daughter.
