Die Verbindung von Online-Lernen mit Spielmechaniken, auch Digital Game-based Learning genannt, wird schon seit l�ngerer Zeit in verschiedenen Bereichen eingesetzt. In der Kinder- und Erwachsenenbildung wurden mit Digital Game-based Learning Anwendungen bereits positive Lernerfolge verzeichnet. Der Einsatz dieser Lernmethode als betriebliche Lernform in der Personalentwicklung verbreitet sich in Deutschland jedoch nur z�gerlich. Das Ziel der Studie ist es, konkrete Potentiale und Mehrwerte von Digital Game-based Learning f�r die Personalentwicklung zu finden, die f�r den Einsatz dieser Methode sprechen. Zu diesem Zweck wird auf Erfahrungen von Digital Game-based Learning aus anderen Einsatzbereichen zugr�ckgegriffen und in der Annahme der �bertragbarkeit die Ergebnisse auf die Personalentwicklung bezogen. Anhand einer existierenden Digital Game-based Learning Anwendung f�r einen bestimmten Bereich der Personalentwicklung werden dann die Ergebnisse �berpr�ft und die Potentiale und Mehrwerte dieser Methode herausgearbeitet.

About the Author:

Stefanie Feder, M.A., wurde 1988 in M�nchen geboren. Ihr Studium "Personalentwicklung und Kompetenzentwicklung mit neuen Medien" an der Donau-Universit�t Krems schloss die Autorin im Jahre 2013 mit dem akademischen Grad des Master of Arts erfolgreich ab. Bereits w�hrend des Studiums sammelte die Autorin als instruktionale Designerin umfassende praktische Erfahrungen in der E-Learning-Branche und in den Bereichen Game-based Learning, Serious Games und Gamification. Au�erdem wurde ihre Begeisterung f�r neue Medien durch ihr Bachelorstudium "Film- und Medienwissenschaften" an der Macromedia Medienhochschule in M�nchen schon ganz fr�h geweckt. Die Faszination von spielerischem Lernen und der Wille diese innovative Lernform weiterzuentwickeln, motivierte sie, sich der Thematik des vorliegenden Buches zu widmen.
