Paperback. Clarissa Daring's granddaughter Olivia is missing. The authorities would help if they could, but they aren't looking for her. Olivia's new husband, Peter, is an immediate suspect, but he is missing, too. Would Olivia's family ever see her again? Was she even alive? Gales Ferry knew tragedy and scandal, but Olivia's disappearance had many unanswered questions. Sometimes, you must create your own happy ending. Sometimes, when you need to get things done, you look to a gentle and adoring grandmother who isn't afraid of anything, including the truth -- nor death. Alexandra Nouri's first novel is a fictional memoir of a respectable, responsible New England grandma who would do anything for her family. Nouri's prose tells a story of real love, of native justice, and of what authentic people do when the unscrupulous want to play hardball. This item is printed on demand.
