Paperback. The medical world is a dynamic one, a place of action and subtle adventure populated with interesting characters and fascinating situations. Each story in this collection reflects on the possibilities of change in our lives through advances in medical care. Doctors, even with their background, are not immune from the same problems that afflict the rest of us. They are human with the same vulnerabilities, desires, and wants as anyone else. Come explore this world. There is a little of everything here: science fiction, mystery, romance, intrigue, and irony. Some stories are pure fiction; others are thinly disguised experiences of the author. Take a journey into the following stories about the types of situations doctors can create for themselves and others. Their reactions are not unique to them. We all share the same responses. The stories are familiar to all of us. Each story is backed by the experience of the author as a physician. These stories are as close to the truth as possible. Read on and enjoy an intellectual ride to be remembered. This item is printed on demand.
