The Roots of India series brings children closer to their roots through stories that introduce them to the India of the past, the present and the future-its mythology, its history, its geography, its people, its cities, its food and everything that constitutes the rich cultural diversity of India.
The second boxset in the series, Great Freedom Stories of India, contains four exceptional books that offer an overview of India's freedom struggle, from Mahatma Gandhi's brilliant Story of My Life, to the stories of the revolutionaries, to India's freedom story, and the 75 key people who shaped modern India.
