Golf is funny because every golfer recognizes the triumphs, frustrations, excuses, friendships and wonderfully ridiculous moments that come with the game.
GOLF: It’s Like Life Itself is a warm and entertaining collection of funny golf quotes, humorous golf stories, memorable anecdotes, clever observations and timeless golfing wisdom. It celebrates the game that can make you feel brilliant on one hole, completely bewildered on the next and absolutely certain that your next round will be different.
Inside you’ll discover:
• Hundreds of amusing golf quotations and clever one-liners
• Funny stories and memorable moments from the world of golf
• Entertaining thoughts about putting, handicaps, swing problems and bad shots
• Wisdom about honesty, sportsmanship, winning and never giving up
• Observations about golf stress, golf obsession and the famous 19th hole
• Stories and quotations worth sharing with golfing friends
This is an easy-to-read golf humor book you can open anywhere—over coffee, before a round, after golf, on a golf trip or while recovering from whatever happened on the back nine.
Keep it on the coffee table, take it to the clubhouse or share it with your regular foursome. It also makes an entertaining golf gift for men and women of every ability, including fathers, husbands, wives, grandparents, friends, golf partners, experienced players, occasional golfers and enthusiastic beginners.
Perfect for birthdays, Father’s Day, Christmas, retirement, golf holidays, Secret Santa, stocking fillers and the golfer who already owns enough clubs, balls, shirts and gadgets.
Warm, witty and filled with the humour golfers love, GOLF: It’s Like Life Itself is a book readers can return to whenever they need a laugh—or reassurance that other golfers understand exactly what they are going through.
Because golfers never really quit the game. They simply finish one round and begin thinking about the next.
