Bei capolettera e cornicette editoriali silografati; marca tipografica all'inizio e al fine; testo inquadrato entro filettatura. Terza edizione del poema, in parte originale, aumentata e corretta, procurata da Angelo Ingegneri. La prima edizione vide la luce a Venezia nel 1580 con titolo ''il Goffredo'' da un manoscritto incompleto e senza l'autorizzazione del Tasso (Serassi la qualifica ''rara e interessante, ma molto sciagurata, scorretta e manchevole quasi d'una terza parte del poema''). La seconda è considerata l'edizione di Parma, Viotti, 1581, in contemporanea a quella presente di Casalmaggiore; altre due vengono stampate a Ferrara da Febo Bonnà, giovane letterato amico del poeta. Esemplare in ottime condizioni all'interno, fresco e ben stampato; uniformi arrossature alle ultime dieci carte; dorso restaurato alle estremità e attaccatura dei piatti, che risultano verniciati in trasparenza. Third edition of the poem, just partly original, integrated and corrected, provided by Angelo Ingegneri. The first one was published in Venice in 1580, with the title "Il Goffredo" from an incomplete manuscript and without Tasso's authorization (Serassi defines it a "rare and interesting, yet very unfortunate, incorrect and missing almost a third of the of the poem"). The second edition is considered the one published in Parma, Viotti, 1581, at the same time of the present one in Casalmaggiore; two others were printed in Ferrara by Febo Bonnà, a young man of letters and friend of the poet.
