Five authors. Five worlds. Five journeys beyond the familiar.
Futurewords: A Brick Cave Anthology brings together science fiction and fantasy stories from five distinctive Brick Cave authors, exploring distant worlds, fractured histories, impossible choices, and futures where nothing is quite what it seems.
A young woman crosses an alien world in search of answers to mysteries that have haunted her since childhood. Time proves more complicated—and more relative—than expected. The Second Coming takes an unexpected turn. A centuries-old petition reveals a story of forbidden love and inherited power. And after a devastating battle, the crew of the Jolly Joseeks refuge at a supposedly neutral outpost, only to discover something that could change the relationship between humanity and the Proximans forever.
Featuring stories by Sharon Skinner, J.A. Giunta, Scott Woods, Colette Black, and Bob Nelson, Futurewords moves between science fiction and fantasy, from intimate personal discoveries to conflicts spanning worlds.
Discover five stories. Meet five authors. Find your next world.
