Resumen
Una novela hipotética, basada en hechos reales, donde el autor recrea episodios de acción, en el cual, investigadores logran un descubrimiento que consolida, que una tecnología desprestigiada de fusión atómica, surja exitosamente, debiendo, en ese proceso enfrentarse a intereses de grandes corporaciones supranacionales.
"La fusión fría", fue una línea de Investigación que, como una pastilla efervescente en un vaso de agua, generó en 1989 una conmoción mundial a nivel científico para luego caer en total descrédito llegándose a establecer como "Ciencia Fraude" y como un ejemplo de lo que no se debe hacer en la ciencia. Ya que sin el aval de árbitros calificados y sin una total certificación de reproducibilidad, se dieron declaraciones a la Prensa de un descubrimiento que prometía cambiar la tecnología mundial. Por supuesto los medios de comunicación de todo el mundo se hicieron eco inmediatamente de la sensacionalista noticia. Así en el diario "The New York Times", afirmaban que se había logrado la fusión nuclear, "…en un tubo de ensayo tan simple que podría ser construido en cualquier laboratorio de química".
El revuelo generado con los comentarios de prensa fue mayúsculo, ya que inmediatamente se evidencio el enorme contraste entre este experimento y las grandes inversiones de miles de millones de dólares, que con más de cuarenta años de investigación se habían ejecutado en proyectos de la fusión caliente con resultados muy cuestionados por los medioambientalistas debido a los altos consumos energéticos, pasivos ambientales y peligros asociados.
Este invento, al concretarse permite una fuente de energía atómica barata, inagotable y mucho más limpia que la fusión en caliente y también de la obtenida de la fisión nuclear utilizada en los actuales reactores nucleares; la cual, utilizada a escala industrial, podría satisfacer las cada vez más altas demandas energéticas mundiales. La energía LERN o "fusión fría" dejaría obsoletas salas centrales nucleares convencionales basadas en la fisión, contrarrestaría las grandes inversiones en los proyectos de soles artificiales de los proyectos tipo ITER y minimizaría al máximo el uso de derivados del petróleo.
En esta historia, se recrea un relato de acción que plantea una hipótesis científica que en el siglo XXI volvería a poner en el tapete mundial el proceso de fusión fría, ambientándola en una conspiración que hipotéticamente se generaría al tratar, el Nuevo orden mundial, de adueñarse de esta tecnología. La historia de ficción expone intrigas y la eterna pelea entre el bien y el mal… la lucha por consolidar energías limpias y de bajo costo contra el negocio y control de los recursos energéticos que la humanidad necesita debido a las situaciones de la Pandemia, la guerra en Ucrania y los conflictos geo políticos asociados.

Effects of cancellation
