This book focuses not only on how the modern fundraiser goes about procuring money in a highly competitive world, but also on how he or she can best reach out and touch individuals in a manner that will get them to think, feel, and donate.
It is important to take a simplified approach to raising funds, no matter how creative or complex your upcoming fundraising plan may be. We, therefore, take a practical, hands-on approach that can meet the needs of both the multimillion-dollar non-profit organization and the local twenty-two-member society.
This book highlights examples of many small-scale fundraising efforts and builds on the theme that fundraising is doable at any level. You will find numerous ideas in this book that may or may not be new to you, but that provide food for thought for fundraising. For anyone not inclined toward getting physically involved, you can opt to manage an intellectual campaign over the web.
There are plenty of great Crowdfunding platforms that facilitate the connection of your cause to potential donors around the world. Fundraising is a lot easier than most people make it out to be – all you need is the confidence, the cunning, and a fun-loving attitude to make it a complete success.
Covered in this book:
