Paperback. A literary road screenplay about memory, exile, incompletion, and the strange desire to become whole.A woman stands on the rocks of the Persian Gulf with half-finished nail polish on her toes. A stranger photographs her unfinished smile. Years later, roads, borders, snow, music, old memories, and the full moon begin to gather around her like fragments of a life that never fully arrived.Full Moon follows a woman and a man as they travel through landscapes that feel both real and dreamlike: a snowy road, a dry desert road, the sea, a border town, and the long straight emptiness of Texas. But this is not simply a story about travel. The road becomes a place where memory returns, where absence takes shape, and where the unfinished parts of a person refuse to disappear.Written in a poetic and cinematic form, Full Moon moves between image and narration, intimacy and distance, confession and philosophy. Its central idea is "halfness" half-finished arts, half-finished friendships, half-finished love, half-finished selves. The woman does not try to hide this incompletion. She carries it as the most honest part of her existence. For readers interested in experimental cinema, literary screenplays, philosophical fiction, and stories shaped by exile, memory, music, and visual symbolism, Full Moon offers a quiet but unsettling journey toward the one complete image in the sky - the full moon.A screenplay for those who have left something behind, and never truly stopped looking back. A literary road screenplay about memory, exile, incompletion, and the strange desire to become whole.
A woman stands on the rocks of the Persian Gulf with half-finished nail polish on her toes. A stranger photographs her unfinished smile. Years later, roads, borders, snow, music, old memories, and the full moon begin to gather around her like fragments of a life that never fully arrived.
Full Moon follows a woman and a man as they travel through landscapes that feel both real and dreamlike: a snowy road, a dry desert road, the sea, a border town, and the long straight emptiness of Texas. But this is not simply a story about travel. The road becomes a place where memory returns, where absence takes shape, and where the unfinished parts of a person refuse to disappear.
Written in a poetic and cinematic form, Full Moon moves between image and narration, intimacy and distance, confession and philosophy. Its central idea is “halfness”: half-finished arts, half-finished friendships, half-finished love, half-finished selves. The woman does not try to hide this incompletion. She carries it as the most honest part of her existence.
For readers interested in experimental cinema, literary screenplays, philosophical fiction, and stories shaped by exile, memory, music, and visual symbolism, Full Moon offers a quiet but unsettling journey toward the one complete image in the sky — the full moon.
A screenplay for those who have left something behind, and never truly stopped looking back.
