Step into a world of human connection, dark imaginings, and journeys across the globe in this captivating short story collection. Each tale is a prism through which love, loss, identity, and the unexpected are refracted, illuminating the complexities of the human experience in profound and unexpected ways.
Divided into three evocative sections, this anthology invites readers to traverse landscapes both familiar and fantastical, from the quiet corridors of memory to the unsettling realms of the unknown. Whether grounded in stark reality or lifted into the surreal, these stories resonate with raw emotion, expressive depth, and thought-provoking themes that linger long after the final page is turned.
Tales from Home
A celebration of resilience, companionship, and the indomitable human spirit, Tales from Home presents stories where love triumphs, identities are unearthed and the past weaves into the present. Here, aging rebels rediscover their vitality; orphaned hearts find a long-lost family through the rhythm of music. And love—whether nascent, rekindled, or long-awaited—finds a way to bloom even in the most unexpected places. These stories remind us that home is not just a place, but a feeling, a connection, a quiet hope.
Tales from Away
Cross oceans, cultures, and dimensions in Tales from Away, where the mystical and the deeply personal intertwine. These stories explore our relationships and connections as humans to a world constantly spinning and rapidly shifting. From Pacific islands threatened by rising seawater to the lush landscapes of Asia. A spectre guides her tattooed bearer home; a principled soldier discovers the ethereal souls of the righteous, and a pill designed to restore youth yields unexpected consequences. These tales remind us that journeys—whether of the body, the heart, or the soul—shape who we are in ways we never anticipate.
Tales from the Dark
Step beyond the veil of the ordinary and into the unsettling abyss of Tales from the Dark. In these macabre and twisted tales, murder takes on a celebratory form, love turns sinister, and the pursuit of justice blurs into the grotesque. Here, a deranged girlfriend finds a chilling method to please her wannabe taxidermist muse, a dystopian society legalises murder as a birthday gift, and a priest’s forbidden desires lead to a haunting betrayal. These are stories of fear and folly, revenge and reckoning—an exploration of the shadowed corners of the human psyche where nothing is as it seems.
