Review
"In Front Lines to Headlines... James J. Heiman offers a valuable service by compiling and presenting the work of an on-the-ground war correspondent in the closing months of the Great War. The book provides an otherwise overlooked piece of Kansas City's wartime history."
Steve Paul, Author of Hemingway at Eighteen: The Pivotal Year That Launched an American Legend
"[Heiman's] manuscript is grounded in solid research done in large part at the National WWI Museum and Memorial’s Edward Jones Research Center, using the Higgins collection as the core primary source for connecting Higgins’ professional, working experience as a war correspondent."
Jonathan R. Casey
Director, Archives and Edward Jones Research Center
National WWI Museum and Memorial

Store description
