Veterans are ditching prescriptions and lighting up—and science is starting to explain why.
In Friendly Fire, you'll discover what the research says, what the government won’t say, and why more people are turning to cannabis to heal trauma from the inside out.
This book was written for patients, their loved ones, mental health professionals, policymakers, and anyone interested in learning more about PTSD and cannabis.
Inside Friendly Fire, you'll find clear, evidence-based answers to questions like:
- What does the latest research really say about cannabis as a treatment for PTSD?
- What is the endocannabinoid system—and how is it connected to trauma and healing?
- What are the actual risks and benefits of using cannabis to treat PTSD?
- How does cannabis compare to prescription drugs in terms of safety and effectiveness?
- Are there physical causes of PTSD—not just psychological ones—and how can cannabis help address them?
- What alternative (non-drug) treatments for PTSD are actually effective?
You'll also unpack some of the most persistent myths surrounding both PTSD and medical cannabis—and finally get the facts, without the noise.
We don’t claim that cannabis alone can “cure” PTSD. There’s no silver bullet—and certainly no magic flower. But the science is evolving, and cannabis deserves a seat at the table in conversations about trauma recovery.
This book is for you if you want to:
- Cut through the noise and uncover the truth about PTSD and medical cannabis.
- Find real answers—whether you’re living with PTSD or supporting someone who is.
- Understand the science behind cannabis as a treatment option, beyond stigma and politics.
- Equip yourself with research-backed knowledge to advocate for alternative treatments.
- Explore holistic approaches to trauma that go beyond the pharmaceutical model.
Buy Friendly Fire today and arm yourself with the truth, the science, and the hope that healing from PTSD doesn’t have to come in a pill bottle.
