Original Victorian copy of Sayce's "Fresh Light from the Ancient Monuments: A Sketch of the Most Striking Confirmations of the Bible from Recent Discoveries in Egypt, Assyria, Palestine, Babylonia, Asia Minor," which is the third volume of the publisher's "By-Paths of Bible Knowledge" series. The book is overall in very good condition with just some minor signs of wear and age. There is no printed publishing date, but the book is circa sometime around the late 1800's. The covers only have some light wear. The binding is good and sound. The interior is lightly toned from age but is generally nice and clean, though there may be the occasional page with a light bit of foxing or grubbiness. Along with that there may be the occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection, such as a tiny chip or tear, creased page corner, minor stain or marking, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The book measures approximately 7 3/8 inches by 5 inches and is 199 pages long with a few black and white illustrations. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.…
