In a world divided by concrete and electrified wire, a single heartbeat is an act of high treason.Ten years after the Great Severance, the Republic of the Coast is a sanctuary of clinical order, while the Sovereign Peaks are a graveyard of lawless survival. Lana, a high-level administrator in the coastal city of Oakhaven, spends her days processing the very bureaucracy that keeps her husband, Jimmy, in exile. Their only connection is a clandestine radio link-a fragile bridge of words that opens for a single, static-choked hour each night. But the silence is about to become permanent. Project Aegis, a sentient surveillance system designed to monitor the very rhythm of human thought, is coming online. To save their final lifeline, Lana and Jimmy must abandon their lives and navigate a lethal maze of active minefields and forgotten ruins to reach the "Third Way."From sterile Ministry halls to blizzard-choked mountain passes, Frequency of the Heart is a visceral exploration of a love that refuses to be defined by the walls of men. In the battle between a digital panopticon and the human soul, the most dangerous frequency is the one they share. This item is printed on demand.
