Print on Demand. This book's main focus is teaching the French language using the direct method, placing emphasis on real-life conversation and intuitive learning. The Direct Method emerged in Prussia during the early 1900s, and quickly became a common practice for teaching French and other foreign languages. The author adopts the method pioneered by Rossmann and Schmidt, presenting vocabulary and grammar in small doses. Each lesson revolves around a particular scenario or environment, like a home or schoolroom. Lessons begin with common phrases and questions to teach the names of objects around the learner. The focus is on spoken French, but reading and writing are introduced as soon as the learner is comfortable with the basics. The book is a valuable resource for anyone seeking to learn or improve their French language skills. It is perfect for beginners, and can also serve as a supplemental resource for more advanced learners looking to refresh their knowledge or improve their conversational skills. The immersive approach of the Direct Method provides a fun and engaging learning experience that will quickly yield results. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
