*The second edition of the popular book, "My Life Coach Wears a Tutu."
It’s about why vulnerability and authenticity trump marketing and image. It’s about creating new clients by connecting deeply with people instead of spraying the Internet with self-promotion. It’s about letting your niche find you rather than trying to manufacture one. It’s not more hype, but solid, meaningful tools to boost your coaching practice, raise your rates, create new clients and answer some of the core misunderstandings the keep coaches from building a thriving practice.
In chapters such as: The Guru Fallacy, Loving Turtles & Sales Chickens, and There Are No Rules, Gros creates a map for navigating the experimental and adventurous nature of coaching in what he calls the “Wild West.”
Coaching is not about being a Guru or an expert, but rather continuing to experiment with your own life, and letting others in on the process.
From broader life lessons about coaching (you only have to be two steps ahead of someone to coach them) to the core questions of “how much do I charge?” and “how much training do I need?” It’s a practical roadmap for becoming a skilled, ethical and prosperous coach.
Love coaching, but can’t stand “sales?”
Feel like the business side of coaching is draining your passion?
Want to lighten up and have more fun as a coach?
It doesn't matter if you are a coaching newbie or have many years under your belt, The Freethinker's Guide to Coaching will show you how to:
Be Yourself
• Find your authentic voice and use your story as the most powerful client enrollment tool you have.
• Stop pretending you have it all together, and learn why showing people your “Uglies” is your gateway to life-long fans.
• Be a beacon of integrity in a profession plagued by over-promising and exaggeration.
Make Money
• Enroll new clients without that icky, salesy feeling.
• Overcome doubts about worthiness and your fees.
• Debunk the Biggest Financial Lies about coaching.
Have Fun!
• Fly Your Freak Flag and get paid to do it!
• Ditch the awkward sales tricks and make your enrollment conversations the most thrilling part of your practice.
• Connect with your deeper vision and those who share it with you.
• Loosen up… and have some fun without compromising your professionalism.
• Discover why “faking it till you make it” is poisonous to your practice.
• Learn why picking you niche too early actually slows you down.
• Rejuvenate a stalled coaching career with Jesse’s “Life Coach Rehab.”
• Complete the Bonus 7-day Process to Boost Your Coaching Practice.
From the Author: *Why this book is NOT available on Kindle: I designed this book to be small and compact so you could take it with you. Grab your highlighter and scribble in the margins, rip pages out and stick them to your wall. Above all, have fun! AND, please please, don’t just read my book. USE IT!
**Many coaches like you have reaped immediate results when they put into practice the lessons in this book.**
Much love & respect,
Jesse Gros
