Fear can result in emotional paralysis that prevents us from living life to its full potential. We fear rejection, failure, uncertainty, violence, risks, and more. So how can we learn to live boldly? Respected counselor H. Norman Wright guides readers step-by-step through the causes and physiological effects of fear and how to triumph over it. He gives specific suggestions, techniques, and exercises for steering thoughts and attitudes away from fear and toward the hope and inspiration found in God's truth. Readers learn that fear, like pain, can be a prelude to faith. With this timely book, they are encouraged to take their fears to God and establish new worry-free patterns of thinking. They will learn to channel their emotions obediently toward God so that when fear knocks, faith can answer the door.
