A golden retriever who suddenly exhibits strange and mysterious powers….
And a young woman standing on the precipice of her destiny…
Come, join seventeen-year-old Jesse and her faithful companion Felcore as they travel to the ‘Lightning Gate’ on a journey that could change their lives forever…
"Just as C.S. Lewis sent us to our wardrobes searching for a mystical passage to a magical land, Deanna Compton leaves us longing for the lightning gate and a visit to Risen”
FREECURRENT: THE LEGACY…the adventure has just begun…
When Jesse discovers her long lost grandmother's diary tucked away in an old steamer trunk, she starts a chain of events that will lead her on a path to adventure. The pages reveal Gabriel's journey through a gate to a land of magic where dragons communicate telepathically and fantastic creatures strive to restore harmony between their realms. On the pages of her diary Gabriel reveals that she is visited by a handsome young warrior who tells her she is destined to save his land from domination by the corrupt sorcerer, Candaz. As Jesse reads Gabriel’s account, she endures a personal crisis of her own and must leave home with her golden retriever to elude the police as she travels to the lightning gate. She soon discovers that her own destiny is entwined with her grandmother's in ways that both alarm and thrill her. "The Legacy" is the exciting beginning to the Freecurrent series.
