Author Statement: This book is a collection of essays on what I consider to be important when playing piano. I emphasize a creative approach that allows students to quickly play piano using chords. Many adults have a fear of 'getting it wrong' when playing a musical instrument. I bypass all of this by focusing on the joy of process rather than a goal oriented product approach - the kind where students are rewarded for getting something right.
About the Author: Edward Weiss is a pianist/composer and webmaster of Quiescence Music's online piano lessons. He has been helping students learn how to play piano in the New Age style for over 15 years and works with students in private, in groups, and now over the internet. Visit Quiescencemusic.com for a FREE lesson! NOTE: This book is a collection of essays on New Age piano playing. It is not a technical manual.
