This is a nice childrens historical fiction story book about Benjamin Franklin called Franklin the Life of an Optimist, copyright 1945, possible first edition with no other date found, hard cover, dust jacket, written by Andre Mauroise and translated by Haakon M. Chevalier, with illustrations by Howard Simon. The books dust jacket has some small tears and chips, otherwise in good condition. The book itself has previous owners name on inside front cover, otherwise in good plus condition with tight binding, nice illustrations, clean and 79 pages. Size: 8vo - over 7�" - 9�" tall.
