Jacket has two small closed tears to top edge, closed tear/crease to bottom edge, small chip on back fold, but clean, whole, and with price intact. Interior of jacket front reveals possible dampstain, not noticeable from the exterior. Light discoloring to small portion of back of jacket. In Paris in 1921, Anderson met such luminaries as Sylvia Beach, James Joyce, Ezra Pound, Gertrude Stein, and Andre Gide. His notebooks reveal how his French experience shaped Anderson's thinking and helped to shape the fictional themes of such works as Many Marriages, Dark Laughter, and A Story Teller's Story. 102 pages with endnotes, index.
