nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - 'The iconic statement Je me souviens (I remember) epitomizes the French-Canadian habitants' narrative on every license plate of Quebec. Dr. Joseph Simoneau has added to this narrative the diaspora of these proud people. He has done what many of us have thought of doing before this migrant population died out. The oral history from his parents of the good and the harsh times that formed their character now endures in their own 'Franglais.' It is a story of subsistence farming in what is known as the Canadian Appalachians . . . Dr. Simoneau recounts the strong bonds and love that held these families together in a common goal.' Leo Roberge.
