About the Author:
During five years at StrataCom Jim Cavanagh designed, engineered, and implemented WilPak, the world's first public frame relay network as well as the world's first private and hybrid public/private frame relay networks. Jim is presently a faculty member with Telecommunications Research Associates (TRA) as well as a consultant to carriers, service providers, manufacturers, end users, and governmental organizations. Jim's teaching, writing, and consulting focuses on the planning and implementation of emerging technologies.
