1st ed. Roy 8vo. 347pp. Illus. The true story of the Merchant Navy during WW2 and in which 32000 seamen died. Its role has never been fully appreciated but it is probably true to say that without the ships and their crews victory would have been impossible. A really nice copy in a protective sleeve. This is a heavy book which will probably incur additional postage for shipment outside the UK. 0 7090 4848 3.
