Neuware - Fred Dings' The Four Rings: New and Selected Poems joins the best of his two previous collections along with twenty-nine new poems. Dings' poetry is highly lyrical and evocative; he brings to us redwing blackbirds that arrive 'like the dying / reclaiming their old lives, delirious / with joy, and revelations that, like 'caterpillar days that crawl / through the long winters.' It is easy to get lost in the mesmerizing details of Dings' observations. In his world, Time, which forgets / none of us, remembers to carry you, finally, back to me.
