nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - The Four Lads were pop superstars of the 1950s. Connie Codarini. Bernie Toorish. Jimmie Arnold. Frank Busseri. They sold over 50 million records with hits such as 'Moments to Remember,' 'Standing on the Corner,' 'No, Not Much,' 'Who Needs You ' and 'Istanbul'. The Fifties had them riding high with their own TV show and personal appearances all over the country. Their harmonies became one of the fondest memories of that era. The Four Lads Book looks back at the music and the four men who made up this beloved group. Fan club newsletters and pictures from their 1950s heyday provide rare insight. Family members Jay Arnold, Perri Arnold, Kimberly Arnold, Tony Busseri, Eva Busseri, David Comden, Denise Wooten, Angela Toorish, Debi Tranter, Tony Tabor and Mary Claire MacDonald share photos and personal information about the lives of The Four Lads both in and out of the spotlight. Also included are biographies of the replacement singers who kept The Four Lads sound alive long after the 1950s were over.Johnny D'Arc, Jerry Mason, Sherwood Alper, Alan Sokoloff, Don Farrar, Sid Edwards, Harry Duvall, Bruce Baggett, 'Aaron Bruce' Grattidge, and John Hasselback. Reproductions of actual 1950s fanclub newsletters are presented as well providing a time capsule into early teen idols and how their fans were kept informed.…
