Welcome to the foundation of global citizenship.
In an increasingly fast-paced world, the most critical infrastructure we will ever build is the foundation of a child’s mind. Foundations of Kindness is the first volume in the groundbreaking One World, Kind Hearts curriculum—a beautifully crafted journey that bridges ancient Eastern wisdom with modern early childhood development.
Designed for children ages 3 to 6, this collection of seven interactive stories does not just tell tales; it builds muscle memory for empathy. By weaving together global adventures, physical movement, and sensory breathing exercises, children learn the profound power of Ahimsa (universal friendship and gentleness), Jyoti (their inner courage and light), and Aparigraha (the joy of sharing).
Through engaging, beautifully illustrated narratives, your child will travel the world to learn vital skills for self-regulation:
-
The Golden Spark (Northern Europe): Discovering how active kindness and Ahimsa warm a frosty heart.
-
The Rainbow Song (Australia): Connecting with Prithvi Mata (Mother Earth) and using the paths of nature to find alignment and truth.
-
The Giant’s Thorn (Northern Ireland & Wales): Learning to meet others' big emotions with Daya—a deeply compassionate and soft heart.
-
The Grumpy Snorer (The South Pacific): Combining individual strengths through Seva (selfless service) to help the wider world family.
-
The Shining Heart (Scandinavia & Ireland): Practising the "Tummy Breath" to ignite internal Jyoti and banish the shadows of fear and doubt.
-
The Kind Touch (North America): Developing the physical awareness and emotional restraint needed for gentle "Ahimsa hands."
-
The Sharing Heart (The Sunlit Grove): Discovering Aparigraha—the liberating secret of taking only what we need and sharing the rest to make the heart light.
The Educational Pedagogy: Far more than a traditional bedtime book, these stories are rigorously aligned with global educational standards, including the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). Every page is designed to help children master internal regulation, physical boundaries, and emotional grounding before they step out into the wider community.
The Aselve Ecosystem: This premium hardcover is the official physical reading companion to the One World, Kind Hearts digital curriculum platform, utilised by leading international schools and forward-thinking educators worldwide.
Whether you are a parent reading at the edge of a bed or a teacher gathering students on a classroom rug, Foundations of Kindness provides the perfect threshold to quiet the mind, take a deep breath, and remember that the whole world is one family.
