About the Author
Kavita Khare received her B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 1989, M. Tech. in Digital Communication Systems in 1993 and PhD degree in the field of VLSI Design in 2004. She has nearly 27 years of teaching experience and 200 publications in various international conferences and journals. She has supervised nearly 20 PhD thesis and nearly 42 M. Tech thesis. She also received the Best Paper Award at an international conference in France and is a reviewer of several journals and conference proceedings. Dr Khare co-coordinates short-term courses on VLSI Design organized at MANIT Bhopal. Currently, she is working as a Professor at the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in MANIT, Bhopal, INDIA. Her areas of interest are VLSI design and Communication Systems, and her research mainly includes design of arithmetic circuits and various communication algorithms related to synchronization, estimation and routing. She is also a Fellow IETE (India) and member of IEEE, Life Member ISTE.
Zainab Aizaz is a VLSI front-end designer and Research Fellow in the School of Engineering and Informatics at the University of Sussex. She completed her PhD from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, India. She has worked as an assistant professor for six years in Electronics and Communication Engineering department in Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India, and as a research fellow for three years in Barkatullah University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. She has 17 international journal and conference publications along with 3 book chapters. She also won the state's annual young scientist award in India in the year 2020 in India. Zainab designs hardware for Artificial Intelligence systems on Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA). Her recent focus is to design energy efficient Vector Processor as an extension to the RISCV processor. Her research interests include FPGAs, Hardware description language, Computer architecture, Artificial Intelligence.
Nilay Khare received his B. Tech degree in 1988, M. Tech. degree in Computer Science Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1995 and PhD degree in the field of VLSI Design in 2009. He has nearly 34 years of teaching experience. His major research work is on Hardware Implementation of Neural Network, FPGA implementation of CORDIC processor, Machine Learning, Data Privacy. His PhD thesis is on efficient design of CORDIC processor on FPGA. He has supervised three PhDs in the area of VLSI design namely FPGA implementation of neural networks, hardware implementation of string-matching algorithms and design and implementation of hardware firewall. He has expertise in AI, Machine learning and deep learning fields, and has supervised many UG ang PG projects in these areas. He has published nearly 1000 papers in top journals and conferences. He also has 3 patents to his name. The primary areas of his expertise are AI, ML, VLSI, Theoretical Computer Science, and IoT.

Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.
Information regarding the right of withdrawal
Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Revaluation Books, Hounslow, United Kingdom, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
