Neuware - 'Forty Hours' is a spiritual guide dedicated to one of the most significant traditions in Catholic piety: the continuous adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Written by the esteemed Franciscan author Rev. Fulgence Meyer, this work provides a structured and deeply meditative companion for the faithful participating in the Quarant'Ore, or Forty Hours' Devotion. The book offers a series of reflections, prayers, and theological insights designed to foster a more profound connection with the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.Through his clear and compassionate prose, Meyer explores the spiritual benefits of silence, contemplation, and communal prayer. The text serves as both a practical manual for liturgical observance and a source of personal inspiration for those seeking to enrich their interior life. By focusing on the central mystery of the altar, 'Forty Hours' encourages readers to find solace, strength, and renewal in the presence of the Sacrament. This work remains an enduring resource for understanding the historical and spiritual depth of Eucharistic devotion, offering timeless guidance for individual believers and parish communities alike. It stands as a testament to the enduring power of dedicated prayer and the central role of the Eucharist in the Christian experience. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
