Tiny closed tear to bottom jacket edge. 2003 Large Hardcover. 208 pp. Color photographs throughout. This is the world's best-selling Formula 1 yearbook: a magnificently produced photographic review of the entire World Championship season, combined with detailed reports and analyses of each of the seventeen Grand Prix races around the world. For each race a two-page spread shows the starting line-up, a detailed account of the race and the result, a description of the circuit, the weather conditions on the day of the race, and the particular issues and talking points that dominated discussion at the time. Other chapters focus on the key issues of the season, lavishly illustrated with photographs. One chapter is devoted to the return of Formula 1 to the USA, and a brief account of its history there. Finally, the book contains an editorial by Giorgio Stirano devoted to the story of technical development of tires and suspension, as well as a 120-page portfolio of glorious color photographs covering the entire season, and 16 pages of superb cutaway section drawings of the main competing cars. No follower of Formula 1 should be without this definitive record of a memorable World Championship season.…
