Clean, lightly scuffed covers and spine; few small pale stains on front cover; fading on spine, gilt titles remain legible; very slight edge wear; tightly bound; small printed note from author/publisher tipped in at front end papers seeking sales people for book; light, clean interior; supple leaves. Large 8vo, 560 pp; illustrated throughout ('one hundred illustrations').
