For over a thousand years, the Book of Enoch—a text once cherished by early Christians and quoted in the New Testament—vanished from the Western world. Banned, censored, and condemned, it was buried in silence while whispers of its secrets lingered in the margins of scripture. Why was this book erased, and what truths did it contain that threatened the foundations of faith?
In Forbidden Scripture, bestselling author Miles Donovan uncovers the gripping saga of a sacred manuscript too dangerous to survive in the official Bible. With cinematic storytelling and rigorous research, this book reveals the forbidden stories of angels who fell in lust, giants who devoured the earth, and visions of heaven and hell that make Revelation seem tame.
Enoch’s lost text describes the rebellion of the Watchers—heavenly beings who descended to earth, took human wives, and unleashed forbidden knowledge upon mankind. From the forging of weapons to the secrets of sorcery, they gave humanity power it was never meant to possess. Their offspring, the Nephilim, terrorized the earth in a reign of blood and corruption. These were no heroes, but monsters—proof that the origin of evil may lie not in humanity alone, but in the heavens themselves.
Though erased from the Western canon, Enoch’s words lived on in the highlands of Ethiopia, guarded for centuries by monks who preserved it as sacred scripture. When European explorer James Bruce carried copies back to the West in the 18th century, scholars were stunned. Suddenly, the “phantom book” that shaped early Christian thought—and explained Jude’s mysterious prophecy—was real, tangible, and terrifying in its implications.
Why did the early Church fathers reference it with reverence, only to banish it later? Was it suppressed because it blurred the lines between Judaism and Christianity… or because it revealed truths the guardians of orthodoxy dared not face?
Every page is alive with revelations that challenge conventional faith and open unsettling questions about the very structure of belief.
Today, the Book of Enoch captivates scholars, conspiracy theorists, mystics, and truth-seekers alike. Some see in its fiery chariots and heavenly journeys the first evidence of ancient extraterrestrials. Others use its angelic names in occult rituals. For ordinary readers, it offers a forbidden window into a Bible that might have been—and a haunting reminder of how much was lost when orthodoxy drew its boundaries.
Forbidden Scripture is not just a history—it is a confrontation with the silences of the past. It asks: Who decides what counts as scripture? What truths were erased? And what happens when the forbidden refuses to remain buried?
If you are fascinated by biblical mysteries, apocryphal texts, angels, demons, and the battle between heaven and earth, this book will grip you from the first page. Riveting, unsettling, and impossible to put down, Forbidden Scripture pulls back the veil on one of history’s most powerful and suppressed works of sacred writing.
Dare to read the book they tried to bury forever—and discover what secrets lie within.
