Whether you are completely new to basketry or looking to strengthen your existing skills, this guide walks you through the essential stages of the process, from finding suitable materials to preparing, weaving, shaping, and finishing your basket.

The beauty of foraged basketry is that the materials themselves bring character to every creation. Natural variations in color, texture, flexibility, and form mean that no two baskets have to look exactly alike.
This book encourages you to slow down, work with your hands, pay closer attention to the natural world, and discover the satisfaction of creating something useful from materials gathered from your surroundings.
Whether you want to make your first simple basket, develop practical weaving skills, or explore the creative possibilities of natural materials, Foraged Basketry User Guide gives you a clear foundation for getting started.
Gather naturally. Prepare thoughtfully. Weave patiently. Create something uniquely yours.
