Neuware - 'This book is for anyone who's ever been fooled.' In her debut book, Foolproof Heart, Author Michelle Gochett Edwards takes readers on a literary journey from infatuated to wounded, fooled to healed. Beautifully told through short and long poems, rhyme, introspection and snippets of newfound prospective, Foolproof Heart takes you behind the scenes of a doomed and complicated entanglement. Told in three parts, you'll feel the perspective shift from disempowered to empowered as the protagonist navigates the raw emotions ending a toxic relationship. Readers familiar with the narcissistic abuse cycle of idealizing, devaluing and discarding will recognize the initial feelings of euphoria and inevitable hopelessness along with the unmistakable growth after severing a bond with a narcissist. See how the protagonist grapples with deception and a loss of self-esteem before discovering renewed strength, and confidence. This poetic journey from heartbroken to healed will leave you armed and inspired.…
